WHY BRING ME FLOWERS WHEN I'M DEAD? WHEN YOU HAD THE TIME TO DO IT WHEN I WAS ALIVE ~ Jaklin Romine
From Jaklin Romine:
This is the first zine I made after 10 years and it is the start of my new zine / art book adventure. This first experiment I wanted to make layers of imagery, texture, color, and shapes overlap and seep into each other’s visual and literary content. With mixed papers of neon pink and green combined with different opacity of imagery the zine flows in and out of different visual consciousness.

Jaklin’s work was featured in our exhibition, Folds, Jan 26 - March 9, 2025.
